Our activities aim to Serve a wide rarwJe of
users. both from the parish and
surroundiTrJ areas. These include an art
group, a school holiday club. Wetherby in
Support of the Elderfy, thildren's dance
classes, pilates cla&￿, church and Parish
Council events as well as children'8 parti88

Communty events were held ts bonfire
night, the late Queen's Plallnum Jubi188 and
Christmas.
A proied to create a garden for the Queen's
Jubilee was completed. Projects to improve

an extension to house new toilet facilities,
were initiated.

Achievements and Porfonnance
The lengthy and ojnplex process of
transferring the assets of the hall from the
old unregist8r8d charity to the CIO was
complated on 1" July 2022. This
nsolidat8d the *al and financial status
of the organisation, and put us in a posFtion
to appty for grant fundiThJ for improvements
to the buikling.
Meanwhile, through Fyomots'on on social
media and other channels, we have
continued to increase usage of the village
hall both in tems of regular users and one-
off hires for parties, V*Èddings and other
events. This has increased our revenue
stream lo provid8 for increased running
costs and oNJoing maintenance. The hall18
thriving both as a focal point for parish
activrt￿I8 and in serling the social need8 of
area.

The financial position of the charrty
robust, with a cash balance of £21,000 ar
no contractual financial commitments. The
chartty has no borrowings. The charty is
forecast to eam a surplus in the
forthcomin
ear from its activities.
The Trustees aspire to maintain a free cash
balance of £5000, which would be sufficient
to sustain 0￿rationS without any further
funding for a pericrfj of 12 months. The
trustees are currently fundraising to make
signfficant improvements to the Village Hall.
