The objects of the CIO are to advance such charitable purposes (according to the laws of England and Wales) as the trustees see fit from time to time in particular but not limited to the promotion of human rights, (as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and subsequent United Nations conventions and declarations) by all or any of the following means:

(a) research into human rights issues;

(b) raising awareness of human rights issues;

(c) promoting public support for human rights; and (d) relieving need among victims of human rights abuse. The above purposes to be furthered by way of making grants to individuals in need and/or charities working to further such purposes.

This year, due to limited capacity, The Trust focused on offering workshops for people in the Bristol and Cardiff area, creating an Summary of the main accessible platform for the lived experiences of queer refugees. A project activities undertaken for the fusing storytelling, belly-dancing, drag, art & robotics, and collaborating public benefit in relation to with queer refugees. these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)
