**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF PEOPLE WHO WORK NIGHT SHIFTS IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE ROLES, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY PROVIDING TRAINING AND ADVICE.

**Activities:** Advance safer night work for health & social care staff by; raising awareness, providing training to employers / staff on fatigue risks, reviewing shift patterns. Highlighting concerns impacting staff health and well-being. Road testing devices that improve personal safety and working environments. Providing access to employee screening program for sleep disorders for referral to further support.
