The pre schools numbers have grown consistently over the calendar year- rising to almost capactily ai ilie closc of 2023-2024 year. Looking ahead the predicted numbers for 2024_2025 arc already looking in & strong position. March 2023 saw the inttoduclion of foresi school se5sion5 on a weekly basis, rising lo twice weekly allowing for more children to participate in sessions. The pre school rooms both hosced Mothers day cvents- where our special ladies were invited to join for aft¢rnoon lea. The Easier thnday w85 a huge hit with good wcaiher attracting many pre school familie5 and those from the wider community. In June Fathers day was an open event where the special rncn were invitcd by the Explorer5 group Lo participate in ball fun on th¢ field, Creators Children invited their menloano en foi est school session. Both of these were well r¢ccived.
MORDA PRE SCHOOL TRUSTEE'S ANNUAL REPORT In July the school leavers were invited to atiend transition sessions ai their allocated schools- some were sUPPOrted by pre school slaff, these sessions w¢r¢ followed by a leavers trip lo Xplore in Wrexham, then we held a family trip to park hall fam] lo mark the end of the acadcrnic year. As ihe new term commenced in Sept¢mb¢r 2023 our children settled into new routine, new rooms very well indeed. We had a raft of enquiries for spaces for :mmediale starts and into the new temi- this is the first lime we have had the need lo hold a waiting list and look al priorili¥>ing Spaces. As Ihe temi began- we invited children to a Bonfire night forest :,chool session wher¢ we enjoyed marshmallows and sparklers around the bonfire. A trip was offered to Th¢atr¢ Stvern to see Dear Santa Wraparound eare: Breakfast club ¢ontinues to be provided for prc-school and pnmary school children. SEN - Thc prc-school continue to build on the provision, working closely with the local coun¢il and parents where SEN needs are identified.
