History
The Roseland Surgeries Patients Group was created as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation on 5th November 2021. Before this date the Roseland Surgeries Patients Group was set up as an unincorporated charity registered with the Charity Commission no. 1170266. The new charity and the former charity were merged on 5th April 2022. The cash held in accounts at Barclays Bank was left in the accounts pending the creation of a new account for the new charity.
Aims and Objectives.
The first aim of original charity was created to promote social, mental and physical wellbeing of the patients registered at the Roseland Surgeries GP practice. This aim has been continued with the CIO.
During the financial period under review several activities were organised to benefit registered patients.

Ind8p8nd8nt Examlner's Report to the Members of Roseland Surgerles Patlent Partlclpation Group I report on the accounts of Roseland Surgeries Patient Participation Group (the PPGI lor the financial year ended , which comprise the Receipts and Payments Account and the Statement of Assets and Liabilities as at that date. Re8pon8ibilitias ofthe PPG Memb8rs The members of the Patient Participation Group are responsible for the prepar8tion of the accounts and for ensuring that they give a true record of the receipts and payments of the Group during the year. This includes m8int8ining appropriate accounting records and safeguarding the Group's funds. Ind6pandent Examlner's Rosponslbllltl83 I report on my examination of the accounts carried out in accordance with good practice for small voluntary organisations and Patient Participation Groups. An independent examination involves a review of the accounting records kept by the PPG and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any significant or unusu81 items in the accounts and seeking explanations from the officers of the Group where nece$s8ry. It does not involve an audit and accordinEly I do not 8xpre5s an audit opinion. Indepondont Examlner's Statement I have ex8mined the accounting records and accounts of Roseland Surgeries Patient Participation Group and have obtained all the information and explanations which I considered necessaryforthe purposes of my examination. Conclusion On the b88is of my ex8min8tion, no matter has come to my attention: which gives me reasonable cause to believe that the accounting records have not been properly maintained. or to which, in my opinion. 8ttentlon should be drawn in order to enable 8 proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
