The Par(￿1?1 Church Council IPCCI has tt* responsibility of cweratirva with the VKar. in promoting
in the ecdesiastical parish. the whole mtssion of the Church. pastoral. evangelistio social and

The PCC is committed to enabllng as many people as possible to become part of the worshipping
community at Chrf5t Churth. We wanttosee li￿transf0m￿d through an encounterwith Je5U5 Christ
so that indmduals respond to G(Kl ty shariw his in the local community and beyond. Our strap

When planning our actmties for the year tl* PCC has Consi￿ the c￿rIty Commlsslons guldance
on publk benefrt and, in particular. the spetlfic guidaKe on charities for the advanornent of religion.
We try to enable ordinary peopk to live out their faith as part of our parlsh community through:

January 2023 saw the churth enteri￿¥ Its sixth month of interre8￿M and also flnallslng its Parlsh
Profile. Thls was the subjert of much work and d15Cus￿n ￿ the PCC and led to an advert for a new
Icar and Oversight Minister belng placed In the Churth fimes. It was therefore something of a
d1sappo1ntn￿rt when the advert failedtoattrdctany applicarrt5tFth¥hthere had been afewenquires
made to the Arthdeac(m. After fwther reflecti￿ and disatssv>n between the PCC and
would be a person In their final year of curw who it wa5 felt had many of the necessary skllls and
attrib￿e$ for teading a church already In pl* and would be able to refine and further develop those
over the twel¥e-month appointmenL Ultlmatety rf PCC a&￿d and if the curate agreed, the idea

members who are Unab￿ to attend or who have missed some of the Servi￿ due to being with the
children to catch up. There is a small n￿nber of members T*IK) tune into live stream each week rather
than attending churth in person.
The churth continued as a vaccin*￿ Centre untsl June 2023. It t*as initialty exrected that
vaccinations would commerKe again in the Autumn IM)wever this did M)t take plao as Govemment
policy thanged. The Vaccination centre deared S(￿ of ts*ir equipment from the lower hall in
December 2023 some still remain>
Use of the Iwildings has C(xrtIn￿dto de￿￿lop theste¢An15hlpof the Centre Managers, Cynthla
Sutherland and Beaiong Kapali. to whom we are very ￿ateful for all TAYbrk tlw Ixrt into ensuring
things run sm4x)thty. In a(klition tt) a wide ra￿ of new small groups using the thurth we have also
welcomed the New Jerusalem Gospel Church on Sunday aftenK)ons and hosted some coKerts

Following the departure of our Centenary Worker toward5 end of 2022 we thertised for
new ￿XIrker earfy in 2023 and were thlighted to apw)int laura Passo to the IM)sL Laura has thrown
herself into the work and we have seen ts **)rk de￿)P al0￿ with iweasin8 contacts bel￿8 made
wlth the wlder community. including Anns Grove khool. Grou￿ like X-Kids, Toddlers, Refresh (now
named Women's Coffee Morning) have be￿ffted from Laurd's input and Tcxkllerfs wularlv
attracts around 45-50 tothllers, each wlth an adult In tow. &ich week In addltion, we now have a
regular programrne of sodal eventy usually one per nK)nth, ¥there the local c(xYwnunity arewelcomed
into the buildin& Events ha%* been Wdried from Ba8-Beetle to an Intematkx￿I Evening when the

to share food. dance and fellowship.

It was decided that instead of attending from 3 years old, Sunday dub would now be for primary

for the day.
