THE PROMOTION OF THE ART OF BRASS BAND MUSIC IN AND AROUND THE COMMUNITY OF LYDBROOK FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY SEEKING INCREASED PARTICIPATION AND DELIVERING OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE TO ENGAGE WITH BRASS BANDS.2. TO FURTHER SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSE OR PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES IN THEIR ABSOLUTE DISCRETION SHALL THINK FIT BUT IN PARTICULAR THROUGH THE MAKING OF GRANTS AND DONATIONS.

**Activities:** Lydbrook band is a voluntary organisation that gives the opportunity for people who live in and around the community to come together and enjoy making music with our fellow brass band colleagues.  We give concerts in our community and sometimes travel further afield.  We also teach young and older people to play brass instruments and loan them an instrument free of charge if needed.
