To fulfil its objectives, Baby
Check Bath has continued to
develop its relationship with the
University of Bath. We are
members of the BSW Research
Hub at the University of Bath.
This group is funded by the
department of Health and is
under the umbrella of the
National Institute for Health
Research. The group brings
together Bath and North East
Somerset, Swindon and
Wiltshire primary care,
community health and social
care projects. The research hub
supports and facilitates all
aspects of applied health
research, from help with
preparing research proposals
and obtaining relevant
approvals, to providing research
governance.
As members of BSW Research
Hub, we are investigating the
views of service users on the
provision of osteopathic care for
babies and new mothers, in
particular their views on the
effect of treatment on their post
natal wellbeing.
We also have engaged Masters
students to work with us to
analyse and write up our
valuable data as part of their
Masters projects including
carrying out some more in- depth
interviews with parents to gather
richer qualitative data.
This relationship with BSW
Research Hub gives us excellent
research support to fulfil our
charity aims.

The directors are responsible for preparing the report and accounts in accordance with applicable law and regulations.

Company law requires the directors to prepare accounts for each financial year. Under that law, the directors have elected to prepare the accounts in accordance with United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice (United Kingdom Accounting Standards and applicable law).
