The Trustees present their report f(￿ the period erKbd 31 December 2023.
The PyFoundation is a famity philanthropic charity based in Henfey on Thames and the
sumunding areas that is commrtted to sponsoring disadvantaged children into their IT
education journey so that they may find OFWtunities. Going forwards, it is hoFed that
these new leaming opportunitres will make a real differen￿ to them and provide them with
career aspirations that they might not otherwise have been abje to consider.
Collaborating ¥￿th local charities who have already established links wth disadvantaged
families and are right at the heart of the communrty, it possible to idenbfy children who
have an interest in IT whilst at sthool and allow them to develop that interest virtually in a
safe environment in their homes.
We have been growing the collaborats'on wrth Ioc21 charities and schools and have been able
to increase the number of pnmary school children enjoying their virtual IT joumey. We have
also been able to finanoally support some of these thildren attend summer and easter
holiday camps. Our objective is very much to grcw the network arKI to encourage more
children to embark on this sponsored joumey.
It is hoped that as the charty collaborates with more local community based organisations
more chiklren can benefft from the IT leaming whFch builds conftdence and greater career
aspirations in their future.
