Govemance
The charity was established as CIO Foundation registered on 21 October 2021 under tharity number
1196233. The governing document is a constitution of a Charitable IrKorporated Organlsation ICIOI,
whose only voting members are its charity trustees.
Organlsatlonal Strncture
The trustees are responsible for overseeing the charitys operations. They volunteer their tlrne and
service, without any expertation of financial compensatson. The trustees bear the critical
responsibility of 8overning the tharity in line with its charitable objectives and legal obligation5. This
entails making Strategic deosions, managing assets, ertsuring Complian￿ with relevant laws and
regulations, and safeguarding the best interests ofthe benefiaaries the CIO serves.
The Trustees convene monthly meetings to assess the organisation's performance. In addition, they
have established a dedicated sU￿0MMIttee to monitor the various projerts undertaken by the
organisation. Both the sub-committee and the Trustees share the responsibility of overseelrg the
day-ttrday activities of the charity.

loss of a loved one.
