Section D Achievements and erformance p
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year
The Trust was formed following the successful series of lectures organised by the Twickenham Luminaries and the Thames Luminaries. This year, the Trust organised a series of 13 talks titled “Food & Drink”, organised into two ‘courses’ of 6 and 7 over October and November 2022. This was followed by a smaller series of 11 talks starting in July titled “Love & Death”, running until November this year. Over the year, 2255 tickets were distributed and net revenue was £9,215.
We welcomed two new partners this year: Syon Park and Gunnersbury Park & Museum making a total of 15.
The Trust, with financial support from Royal Holloway London, commissioned a new website. The website is visually attractive, easy for visitors to navigate and simple to maintain. Information about future talks is clearly displayed and video recordings of past talks are available.
