| Summary ofthe main achievements ofthe charity during the year |
The Band celebrated its 50th anniversary this year. It has continued to attract more players, with membership increasing from 47to 53through the year, including a number ofpeople returning to playing after a period ofyears. |

| Briefstatement ofthe charity's policy on reserves |
In order to retain sufficient cash reserves to finance concerts at large venues such as the Fairfield Conceit Hall, and to ensure that a future lockdown would not cause the Band to close, we are aiming for reserves tobe about 50'A ofsubscription income. Due to it being the Band's 50th |
| anniversary, two concerts were held at the Faiifield Concert Hall, which |
|
| made losses due to the high rental ofthe venue. The general reserve of K2,316as at 31August 2023 represented 36%ofgeneral subscriptions for the year. The budget for 2023/24 has been set to generate a small |
|
| surplus, which will increase the general reserve towards the 50%. |
