Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
(1) To benefit the residents of Winchcombe and the neighbourhood, without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide growing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents. (2) To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment by promoting sustainable growing practices.

• Agreed and signed a 10 year lease on ‘Land off Mount View Drive, Winchcombe’ with Winchcombe Town Council

Secured £9,000 in unrestricted grant funding from the following organisations:

Tewkesbury Borough Council

Gloucestershire Community Foundation

Cleared and made good our allotment site
-
• Planted the community orchard (c. 35 trees) and native hedgerows
-
Completed our site design and laid our individual and community allotment plots

Open registration and allocation for members of Winchcombe Community to join the allotments and orchard
