A successful series**<br>**of 4 concerts was run during the period**<br>**from November to April. Over 300 people**<br>**benefitted from the concerts as audience**<br>**members.**<br>**In addition to the concerts, the other**<br>**main branch of the charity’s activites, the**<br>**string school for young people every**<br>**Monday night in Benenden continued and**<br>**had a good year. The group finished the**<br>**period with 14 members, from age 9-13**<br>**and undertook two concerts and an**<br>**appearance at the Benenden Village Fete**<br>**in June.**<br>**It is the aim of the Trustees to encourage**<br>**more children from state schools, who**<br>**have limited access to musical**<br>**experiences to join. At the time of writing,**<br>**the group has 23% non-independent**<br>**school representation.**|
