Financial Review

financial position was healthy at the end
of its financial year and sufficient funds
are available for the
ear to come.
The charity needs to keep a reasonable
level of cash reserve5 in order to cover
any increase in the number of incoming
grant applications, new grants, future
staffing and an Increase In the current
grant amount.

cover anticipated grant commitments
made to beneficiaries. These funds are
set aside to honour the charity's
obligations to its beneficiaries and are
therefore not available for general use. In
the year ending 31st Dec 2025, this level
has increased due to:

'RelapselSecondary Cancer
Cancerf grant in early 2025.
An increase in the amount given
to each individual from £250 to
£400 in 2025 (further helping to
ease the financial worries of
young cancer patients).

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/12/2024. 

- **Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation **basis of report** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## **Independent examiner's statement** 

I have completed my examination.  I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
