The charity was established under a Constitution (PsxKiation modd) dated 13 October
2021 and is a registered Charitable Incorw)rated Organisation (CIO).
Prtor to this Grange Farm Grange Fa￿n Hobbies Centre operated as an unincorporated
Charity (Charity numtEr 1088500). Following a review of the risks of being an
unincorporated association the Trustees made the decision to become the CIO. For a
period of time both organisations were operating simultsneously, by 16 September 2022
all assets and liabilities were transferred to Grange Farm Community (Hobbtes) Centre
from this date.
Governing body
TrE responsibilty to ensure approprFate governan￿ and management of trE charity is
vested in the Trustees.
Appolntment of Trnstees
The appointrnent of trust￿5 Is in accordan￿ with the Constitution.
The Trustee Board are elected at the Annual General Meeting by the member5 of the
Charlty, at every annual general meeting On￿thIrd of the charity trustees retire from
offitr. The Trustee Board elects their Honorary Officers from those apFolnted.

Appointment of Trustees (continued)
There is also the provison for the co-option of additional trustees by the Trustee Board
provided that the maximum numter of trustees is not exceeded. Co-opted tnjstees must
retire at the next AGM after their appointment and shall not be counted for the purpose of
which of the charity trUSt￿S are to reb.re by app￿ntrnent at the AGM.
Any person retiring as a charty trustee by rotation or by giving noti￿ to the CIO is eligible
for reappointment.
The Constitution states that there must be at least 3 charity trustees and the maximum
number of charity trustees is 9.
Trustee Induction and Trdlning
New Trustees undergo inductioni provided by the current Trustee Board. The irKluction
includes a diScu￿10n atK)ut the role and responsibilities of Trustets, the activities, alms
and objectives of the Charlty, the Structure of the organisation, Board of Trustees. general
procedures of the organisation. New Trustees are introduced to members of staff and
other Trustees and are provided with the Chartty Commissions 'Roles and Responsibilities
of Trustees,, the Constittrtion, the latest statutory financial statements, Annual Rewrt, and
financial reports provid￿ to the Board of Trustees.
Oryanisational Structure
The Trustee Board manages the Charity, and t(MJether with the Executive Committ
considers trM)th day to day operations of the Charity and strategic decislons at its meeting5.
Trustees are aware that any confiicts of interest are dedared and minuted.
There is also the provision within the Constitution to develop sUb￿rnM1ttees as required.
The procedure for this is outlined in the consti￿tic￿.
Risk Management
The major risks to whlch the I￿arity is exposed, as identified by the Trustees, have Eeen
viewed and systems have been established to mitigate those nsks. Procedures are in
pla￿ to ensure Complian￿ with health and safety for trustees, staff, volunteers, seNlce
users and visitors to the Centre.
All procedu￿ are peri￿￿[cally revi￿ to ensure that they continue to meet the n￿S of
the charty.

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIvrrIES
Objects
As set out In the Constitution, the Charitys objects are:
(a) to promote the benefft of the inhabitants of North Lincolnshire and the neighbourhood
without distinttion of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political religious or other opinlons,
by associating the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other
organisations in a common effort to advan￿ education and to provide faalities in the
interests of 9xial welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of
improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitsnts.
(b) establish, or secure the establishment of. a community centre and to manage and
maintain the same (whether alone or in co-operation WFth any k)cal authority or other
person or body) in furtheran￿ of these objectives.
(c) promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be detemiined.
Summary of Main Acbvit￿s In relation to the puryjoses for the public benefit
We continue to provide facilrttes for Education, Recreation, Leisure and Sporting Activities
for the people of North Lincolnshire. These indude Aiki(k), Taek￿ond0, Karate Jui Jtsu,
Judo, Amateur Dramatics, Boxing Groups. Circuit Training, Dancing (Tuition and Pleasure),
Dress Making/ Sewing, Gymlweightliftjng, Modd Railways Groups, Sub-Aqua, War Games
& Role Playtng, Waste Not Want Not and Health Related athvities. This is by no means an
exhaustive lisL

During the account.ng period we have continued to provide facilitres for EduG*ion,
Recreation, Leisure and Sp)rting Activities for the people of North Lincolnshire. This
includes Aikido, Taekwondo, Karate, Jui Jitsu, Judo, Amateur Dramats'cs, Boxing Groups,
rcuit Training, Dancing (Tuition and PEeasure), Dress Making/ Sewing Gym/Weighdith'ngi
Model Railways Groups, Sub-Aqua, War Games & Role Playing, Waste Not Want Not and
Health Re￿ted activits'es. This is by no means an exhaustive list.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Flnanclal regulatlons
The financlal st3tements have been prepared in accordance with the accounting policies
set out on page I l and comply with the Consbtution, the tharities Act 2011, and Charty
Commission Guidan￿ for Charities preparing their accounts on the Re￿'pts arKI Payments
basis.
Financial results
Total income was £101,665, the majonty of this came from hiring the hall (£82,652). Totsi
expenditure was £118,345. The deficit for the per￿ was £16,680.
Policy on reserves
It is the aim of the Trustee Board to retain at least six months, core running costs in the
unrestrltted general fund to ensure a suffiaent buffer to enable effective financtal decision
makirvJ and ensure there are reserves available for Unex￿ expenditure.

FIMIRE PLANS
The Trustee Board will continue to maintain the Centre to a very high standard, making it
an attrdctive and well used asset for the residents of North Lincolnshire.
Trustees will continue to ensure future of the hall by working in partnership with our
long and short-terni hirers as well as seeking new hirers to increase r￿M use.
Addittonally, the Trustees will apply for grant funding to ty and fijnd new devdopments
where appropriate.

Charity law requires the trustees to prepare finanaal statements for each financial year
which give a true picture of the transactions that have occurred in relatson to the charity.
The charity have prepared their accounts on the Receipts and Payments basis vthich is an

The twstees are ￿ponSIble for keeping proper accounting records whith disclose with
reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the Charity and to enable them to
