on￿ again, we've had great reports on the impact of our re￿nt funding.
Supportlng livelihoods
The funding Y￿ gave for salaries in 2022 supported 11 members of the
team induding care staff, kitchen staff. agncultural staff and the
accourrtant. Together with other funding $our￿s. our funding allowed
Prithipura Communities to increase salanes to market rates. The grant
funded nearly 25% of the total salary expenditure. It is predided that the
funding for salaries provided in 2023 ￿fj11 fund nearly 20% of the salary
budget.
We a￿ proud that we've been able to support Prithipura Communities in
this way for a number of years. Historically rt has been a challenge for
Prithipura communth.es to find adequate funding for this.

Acting in line with current sKtor best practicè

exible funding from grant makers and for charittes to have more
opportunrties to use grants for running costs and core costs. Core costs
are the basic costs that enable an organisab.on to do what rt does.
Funders are responding to this positively. They recognise that power
needs to be more balan￿d be￿n funders and the or9ani8alions they
fund and chartts'es are best pla￿d to say vthere money is most needed.
