It<br>includes a video course and hands-on assignments and<br>projects to apply their learning.<br>2. Incubator (previously known as Accelerator) -<br>programme helping students build and develop their<br>social impact projects. It includes workshops and<br>mentorship from experienced social entrepreneurs,<br>dedicated support and resources prepared by our team,<br>and cash prize for promising projects.|

## **Achievements and Performance** 

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole. 

## **2021/22** 

Or main achievements revolve around the benefits we brought through the two programmes we ran & overarching work building on top of success in the 2020/21 year (in below for an overview). The summary of our impact include: 

1. Revamped the online Academy course, updating curriculum, videos, quizzes and assignments based on feedback from past Academy participants and advisors with higher production quality 

2. Ran the second iteration of the Accelerator programme, including new features such as coffee chats with working professionals and the Camstart Programme Booklet which prompts students to delve deeper into developing their ideas 

3. In the year, the Accelerator supported 19 student social impact projects, and 100% of the students/teams would recommend the programme to their friends and peers. Moreover, 100% of students/teams agreed that: 

   - a. Their project consultant was helpful, reflecting well on our project consultant training 

   - b. The new programme booklet supported their learning 

   - c. The workshops were engaging and rewarding 

4. We keep in touch with prize winning teams to provide guidance and mentorship as they continue to work on their projects 

   - a. Case Study: The Asian Voice hosts a podcast to spread awareness about problems with Asian prejudice. They have posted 20 podcast episodes and launched a website and social media accounts to publicise their content, 

   - b. Case Study: Scholarship for Students Programme provides academic support for secondary students from underprivileged backgrounds in Malaysia. By running tutoring workshops, they have supported over 65 attendees in Batu Pahat, Malaysia. 



**2020/21** In 2020/21, we established Camstart and laid out the foundations of the organisation and our programmes. Our main achievements are as follow: 1. Developed the first version of the ‘Academy’ – an online programme including video courses and hands-on assignments. 2. In the year, the ‘Academy’ helped 300+ youths learn about social entrepreneurship with over 80% reporting improvements in relevant skills and more than 20 launching impact initiatives after participation 3. Designed the first programme of the ‘Accelerator’ with mentorship, structured workshops/support and cash prizes. 4. In the year, the ‘Accelerator’ supported 10 student social impact projects, and 100% of the students/teams agreed that the program enhanced the development of their projects and their education in business and social entrepreneurship. 5. In the post-programme 6 month evaluation for ‘accelerator, we found that: a. 70% of the teams are still working on their project b. 90% of the teams agree that they have become more involve in social impact & business and have applied skills/knowledge gained through the programme c. Case Study: One team (Maskroom – designing & selling reusable masks) managed to sell 5000+ reusable masks as means to benefit the wider society d. Case Study: Another Team (HOPE -sex education for young children): Increased their team by 20 members and used the Camstart prize to run 3 more events reaching 200+ students.
