The centre benefits hugely from the participation of volunteers, particularly in the spirit of ‘Veterans helping veterans’.

In addition both the trust and the Drop in centre benefit from the expert advice of civilian volunteers in the spirit of ‘with the help of a few good civilians’. In particular veterans benefit from the contribution of qualified counsellors who donate time weekly.

Other expert volunteers make contributions with book keeping, skills acquisition, health and well being and advice from the DWP. Other community volunteers have offered help with grant writing.

The charity’s principal source of funds continues to be one off donations from individuals including through their own fundraising efforts and through memorial donations from the veterans who we miss dearly.

The charity also raises funds through our own fundraising such as the annual ball.

We have recently have begun as we grow as a charity so have begun to seek grant writing opportunities.
