## **Description of the charity’s trusts**

Constitution adopted 13[th] of August 2021 Type of governing document (eg. trust deed, constitution) Charitable Incorporated Organisation How the charity is constituted (eg. trust, association, company) The existing trustees are responsible for the recruitment of new trustees, Trustee selection methods but in doing so, they seek the views and recommendations of religious (eg. appointed by, elected by) scholars. In selecting new trustees, we seek to identify people who regularly attend events and functions organised by the charity and are willing to volunteer to help in our broader community work. Potential trustees are invited to attend trustees’ meetings as observers and are given more details of the charity’s aims and activities. If all agree, they are then proposed as new trustees at the subsequent trustees’ meeting. This process allows consideration of the person's eligibility, personal competence, specialist knowledge, and skills.

## **Additional governance issues (Optional information)**

You **may choose** to include additional information, where relevant, about:

- policies and procedures adopted for the induction and training of trustees.
