Trustees Annual Report - School Year - 2022 - 2023
Good morning everyone, thank you all for attending our second AGM as a charity. It is a requirement for us to hold an AGM to remain with charitable status. So thank you for all joining us!
Our main event last year was fireworks. As always this was well attended and really marks the start of the fobps fundraising!
We also had a great hollywood and hotdogs evening with high numbers attending. We completed our second santa float route with the round table. Within the year we also had a non uniform day, Christmas card fundraiser, second hand uniform sales and we sold ice poles!
Our final event for the school year was our summer fete. This was the first one in many years and to have seen so many smiling faces really made it worth it! It was very much supported by the community - the Warriner school, boys brigade, standing in the gap, biodiversity, Bloxham FC and the garden centre all ran stalls. We also had some of the wonderful WI support us with the refreshments stall! We would love ideas for next years if you have them!
We will be looking at more ways to raise money using the charitable status so please do let us know if you know of any.
Looking ahead to the new school year we have all the favourites again and some new additions too. We plan to make it as community minded as possible and accessible to all. We would love any help or suggestions and are always happy to chat!! We have discos and a present room planned for the new school year too! Honestly helping at one event in the year can really make the difference.
Lastly some thank yous. Thank you Georgina for co chairing, to Sian as secretary and to Becky for taking the treasurer role.
Thank you to all the committee and to those who have helped at events whether that be setting up, packing away, providing amazing graphics, selling tickets or one of the other many roles that people have taken on -without you these events cannot happen and every bit of help is really appreciated! Thanks also to Ms Staples for being our school link and to Lucy McKenna for answering many many questions and always remaining calm!
