## **HAVEN CARE CARDIFF** ## **Annual Report 2022-3** Haven Care Cardiff was registered as a CIO on 30 September 2021. The CIO was established to take over the business of Haven Home Care, a trust established to provide domiciliary care for older people in the Cardiff area. Haven Home Care has been active as a care provider since 2007 and has been a registered personal care provider since 2013 regulated by Care Inspectorate Wales. In the period covered by this report Haven Care Cardiff was a dormant organisation. Transfer of the business and assets of Heaven Home Care was conditional on Haven Care Cardiff achieving registration with CIW. Registration was finally granted in January 2023. Following this the trustees formally agreed to take over all business activity and accept all assets from Haven Home Care from 1 April 2023. Haven Care Cardiff was not active in 2022-3. It had no income, employed no staff and provided no care. Business activity will start from 1 April 2023. The transfer of business activity from Heaven Home Care to Haven Care Cardiff will not involve any change to the business of the charity. Specifically, there will be no changes to policies and procedures, care provision, or employment terms and conditions. There will be no visible change for clients, staff or suppliers.
