South Wales
Trustees’ Annual Report
For the Year Ended 31 August 2024
Summary of main activities in relation to these objects
The Charity exists to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and to teach people the bible. All our activities reflect these core goals. The Church arranges or participates in a number of activities to this end, namely, Men’s Discipleships, Revival Meetings with visiting preachers etc.
Achievements and performance
The church has continued to steadily grow. It has been particularly encouraging to see people in the church share a vision for the core tenets of our faith and indeed Fellowship, discipleship, church planting and evangelism. The church has a strong and stable foundation which I confidently expect will continue to grow with the blessing of God. I am sure other men and women in the church will also respond to the call of Pastoral ministry in the Lords harvest fields.
Financial review
Policy on reserves
Due to the charity being a small organisation and its future expenses being fairly predictable in nature the trustees have decided not to have a minimum reserve. During the period under review the charity has been able to cope successfully without a minimum level of reserve.
Declaration
The trustees declare that they have approved the trustees’ report above. Signed on behalf of the charity’s trustees

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER’S REPORT ON THE ACCOUNTS
To the Trustees of
Potters House Christian Fellowship UK South Wales
For the Year Ended 31August 2024
Charity number 1195983
Set out on Pages 4 to 7
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 2093 (the 2093 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
-
examine the accounts under section 43 of the 2093 Act;
-
to follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 43(7)(b) of the 2093 Act); and
-
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner’s statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair’ view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
Independent examiner’s statement
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
-
which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in, any material respect, the trustees have not met the requirements:
-
to keep accounting records in accordance with section 41 of the 2093 Act; and
-
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the 2093 Act; or
-
to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
