The Trustees have pleasure in submltting their annual report together with the unaudited accounts
of the charty for the year ended 31 March 2025.
Admlnlstr•tlon Detalls
structure, Governance and Management
Crimson Cord Ministries is a charrtable incorporated organtsation whlch was regL8tered on 29th
September 2021.
The head office is In cOrbr￿9e, NorthumberlarKI.
The Trustees meet at teast four tlmes in each year and deal w]th the admlnistrauon of the charty
overseeln9 f inanck31 accOuntab￿ty, rsk management and any other admInistrat￿e business. The
operational management of the Organisat￿n iq also undertaken by the Trustees and volunteers since
is newly formed and there are weekly caus between the Trustees regarding our ongoing support
to the needy.
ObJectlve# and Actlvltlex
The objectives of Crimson Cord Ministries are, for the public benef it, the promOt￿n of the Chrtstk4n
acts by, but not limtted to, relievlng, erther generamy or indNidualty. persons who are In immediate
need or assistance due to being in danger or exposed to harm of hea￿h or at risk: physicalty,
mentaVemotional/sexualty and who are wi conditrjns of need. hardship or dtstress. Supporting men,
women (in partkular} and vulnerable Chl￿ren in U.K. and also international as we grow.
ActNity has been on a small Sca￿ due to Cromson Cord MinistrEs having limited funds and manpower
but we hope that in 2026 we will attract domrsldonations to increase our impact on the public
benefit. Currently* Trustees Kathleen 8ulkxk and Rachel Gott have been the main charlty donors
giving Out of thelr own private funds, going forward we hope to start promoting the charty and
seeking other donors which will increase our actNty and our complkince to its goals.
We continue to issue small furmds /grants to indNiduals and charty status organisations. In addition
to offerlng f inanclal sUPPOrt, Crimson Cord Ministrles has a goal to raise enough f unds to purchase
or purp0se-bu￿d 'safe houses, acros5 U.K. offering short-term accommodat*)n to indlvidua15 and
familles who are in danger and need immediate sanctuary. We would also like to h)ok into being a
potential asylum provider f or international asylum seekers and wlll be researching how this works
wth the UK government.

The Trustees have had regard to the Charty Commssion's gU￿anCe on their 5egal duty on public
benefit and are satisfied that that the Charty delivers put4K benefit. due regard is to the
gukjance on public benef it when decKling on what new projects the charty sI￿ukI undertake.

Achlevemefrts and Performance
CCM is Still at an early Stage in the charty's Journey but it continues to make small dOnath)r￿ that
make a signrficant drfference to a number of charities and Indlviduals. The Trustees are occupEd in
f ull-time work, so their ts.me s limrted.
We are currenuy researching grants and donors such as corporatw)ns wth socfial responslbillty goals
such as John Lewts, Co-op, Ford Motors etc., aswell as local authorttles who have capacty buikjing
grants to assist small charths like CCM
WFth CCM'S website content being re-a￿Jned arKI centred on helping community and Social
responsibilty. we beI￿ve we can tap donors who have a budget in this area who may wish to be a
partner in the f uture- aswell as appeal to individual donor5. With this inltiative. we hope we will build
finance to develop the charty with outreach programmes that benefFt the communty and women
and famil*s golng through hardship. CCM operates from a small office in CorbrKlge Northumberland
where it wdl be expandlng to include a management team to asslst In the day to day running of the
charty.

Flnanclal revlew
Income during the year amounted to £1,995 and was largety derived from donats'ons received for
the Trustee5.
Expenditure amounted to £2,323 for the year and was k4r9ety attrlbutable to grants paKI to those
in need.
Charlty'$ Reserves
The charty holds reserve funds with Lloyds Bank.
Charlty's Prlnclpal Source of Funds
The Trustees have been donating sman amounts during 2024 however we win be actrvely startlng
to promote the charty in mid-2025 and hope to have more donors and successful grant
applKati)ns wlth more established charitrs.

The Tnjstees are currently time poor and need to recnjlt more peOe to enable the Charity to reach Its goals.

Founder Rachel Gott has much experience in recrultment havng worked at sen￿r level in a manning

Our methods of sebertK)n are based upon the needs of the organisatK)n and experience that Individual
can brlng to the table.

and the National Council for Voluntary OrganisatK)ns (NCVO) produce model role descriptions fcf
charity trustees.

learning cU￿e to 5etCarf for gmwth. All three Trustees are Christwn and have a compas%onate nature tr) he
people.
A diverse board is more likety to contain a broaderrange of skllls. knowledge and experlence than one whrh
more narrowly based.
AJI Trustees were interviewed by founder and have worked wrth and known for many years. Each Trustee
understands our policies on Chlld protection and worknng WFth the vulnerable youngladults. To ensure this:
