Activities
The aim of the charity is to promote and to advance the Christian faith by offering a Christian welcome and hospitality through a diverse range of outdoor and recreational activities at the residential facility of Bassenfell Manor Christian Centre. We work collaboratively with the Christian Adventure Holidays CIO as well as offering support to schools and church youth groups in the local community
Objects: The Purposes Of The CIO Are The Promotion And Advancement Of The Christian Faith For The Benefit Of The Public In Accordance With The Statement Of Faith, Primarily, But Not Exclusively, By Providing:(a) Facilities, Instruction (including Courses) And Supervision For Outdoor Pursuits And Other Recreational Activities Which Promote Character Building, Emotional And Spiritual Resilience, And Leadership Skills, Particularly For Young People;(b) Residential Accommodation And Facilities With A Christian Ethos Suitable For Groups Or Individuals Of All Ages Which Provide Opportunities To Receive Teaching About The Christian Faith;(c) Residential Accommodation With A Christian Ethos For Recreation, Relaxation And Spiritual Refreshment; (d) Aid, Assistance And Support For The Work Of Christian Adventure Holidays CIO, Subject Always To The Christian Adventure Holidays Having And Continuing To Have Exclusively Charitable Objects, Including The Provision Of Subsidised Adventure Holidays For Young People Within A Christian Environment And Ethos; And(e) Support To Schools And Church Youth Groups In The Local Community Through School Assemblies And Other Christian Teaching.
