OBJECTIVES - Our main mission is to reach more young people for Christ, and for them to remember their Creator and worship Him. We endeavour to achieve the above by doing the following. Tell all young people about the love of Christ. Lead to Christ those who are willing to accept Him. Encourage the Christian youth to be active and on fire for Christ.
Educate the young people on all aspects of life thereby helping to build healthy communities. MISSION STATEMENT We believe: There is one God the creator of all things. He co-exists eternally as God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.(2Corinthians13:14,1 Corinthians 8: The Holy Bible in its entlrety, as the only Infallible and authoritative written Word of God. (2Timothy3:16, Matthew 24.35) In true hollness through the sanctfying power of the Holy Spirit. (1 Peter1:15-16, Ephesians 4.24) Marriage is between a man and a woman.(Genesls 2:22- 24. Matthew 19.5) Salvatlon is by grace through falth, and the only means to salvatlon is through repentance by the blood of Jesus Christ.(Ephesians 2.8-9, Titus3:5) Water baptism by immerslon.(Mark 16.16. Matthew 3:13- 17) In the Holy communion (Mark14:22-23 Corinthi8ns11:23- 26) In the baptlsm of the Holy Spirit, His manifestation and gifts (Acts1:8, Mark16:17. 1 Corinthians 12.6-11) In Jesus Chrlst the only true God, His deity, conceived of the Holy Spirit, His virgin birth, His death, His resurrection and His second coming. In Heaven, everlasting damnation and etemal Hell. (Psalm9:17, Revelation 21.8). ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE AND DECISION MAKING. Youth Alive For Christ has a board of trustees who meets regularly to discuss and take strategic decisions on behalf of the charity. REVIEW OF ACTIVITIES DURING THE YEAR 2023 This report actually highlights Youth Alive For Christ's effort in helping young people to put their faith and talents into action thereby bringing hope and encouragement to other young people in the community. As a Christian Youth Charity on a mission to empower young people through education and providing a plaffomi to demonstrate their gift; by putting the knowledge acquired into practice, we are confident to say we made a positive impact. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 2023. .The year started with one week Fasting and Prayer, which was very successful. The young people participated fully which was a sign of spiritual progress. .Our young people regularly posted encouraging scripture verses on our Social Media plaffomis, which received significant amount of engagement from other young people and the larger public as a whole. .The Ministry organised an event titled 'Come and Dine, on the 18th of March 2023. At this event the young people came together to cook and dine together. It was an
opportunity to foster team work and a chance of making new friends. The Team leamed new skills from each other during the preparation. serving. and enjoyment of the meals. Some attending guests got to see what the young people could do and were impressed. As a result of this event one of the young people who played violin got noticed by one of our guest, who later invited him to play at another event. .On the 30th of April 2023, the Team organised a Worship event themed 'Thy kingdom Come,. Here it was a life changing event. On most occaslons when organising a worship event guest singers are invited to perforni but on this occasion the Team utilised their gifts, and at the end of the event they were really inspired. It also helped in cutting down the cost. . The team had the opportunity of also getting together on some occasions for an in house Intense prayer sessions where each person was prayed for Indlvidually. OBJECTIVES FOR THE PERIOD 01:09:2023- 01.09.2024 .To focus more on encouraging the young people on personal evangelism. .To increase our onllne presence.
