FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2023
10. Tangible fixed assets (continued)
The Charity operates a museum and has many artelacls and memorabilia, both purchased and donated,
with historical qualities relating lo the sporting history ol Wimbledon. There is an audit trail ol the donated
items but many are unique and markel-based evidence ol value does not exist. The Trustees consider
that, at this stage, obtaining a reliable cost or valuation lor these donated heritage assets will require
additional lime and resources and so they are not recognised on the balance sheet. When resources are
available the Trustees plan lo undertake a detailed financial review ol the heritage assets based on the
guidance in Charities SORP IFRS1021 (Oct 20191.
