The team 15 comprised of around 30 ieam MeM￿Ts. all unpdid volunteers who give up their own time at all rim¢s of the day and nighL 365 days per year to help ihose lost. injure4 or in distress in the mountains or nwal l(Kalion4 in South Snowdonia. and in addiiion to this tlw also help the police by lot¥king for vulnerdble pcople who are missin8 from ￿me or thos¢ in need of rescu Hi.% During thc 1960's, the mountsin ￿SCUe situation in South Er￿. was very primitive. In 1986, members frorn the 'Cambrian Rambling Club. came 10 M up"Rhino8 Rescye Tcarn, under ihe sup¢rvision of Bary Ellis. It) 1973, Moelwyij Rescue Team was set up in the Blaenau Ff¢51inioB area undcr the suwvi$i¢)n of Tom Thomas.
