## Objects and Activities 

## Objects (Charitable Purpose) 

'For the public benefit, to advance education in, and the science of, interspecies communication by adding to the collective knowledge and understanding of interspecies communication and by promoting research and creating a global network to share and apply research in the subject.' 

## Activities 

To continue to advance education and the science of interspecies communication since formalising, we have delivered an annual program of conferences, monthly lectures. We have further developed the website to include more resources as well as present transcriptions of the monthly online lectures to develop our online presence into a hub of resources, references and citizen science tools to share the history and latest research findings in an effort to further advance and support the field of animal communications. 

## Achievements and Performance 

Our public conference has had a live audience and online viewings totalling over 3300, the membership has reached nearly 7500 with over 20% increase, and our lectures have been seen over 9000 times and counting.

## Financial Review 

Since launch, we are yet to raise any finances. All work is voluntary, and this year we will look to develop a fundraising strategy. We have no funds held in reserve. 

## Structure Governance and Management 

Interspecies I/O is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) with charity registration number 1195800. It is governed by its Articles of Association, last revised in 2021. The Articles of Association set out the charitable purposes for public benefit. 

In selecting individuals for appointment as charity trustees, the charity trustees must have regard for the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO.
