The CIO, charity number 1195732, is constituted by the CIO- Foundation document and was
th
registered on the 6 September 2021. The charity, number 230676, will be transferring all
its assets to the CIO at a future date.
The principal office of the tharity is Flourlsh House, Cathedral Park. Wells. BAS IFD.
Objectives & Activities
The objectlves of the fund are the relief of:
Any financlally needy clergy and their families licensed or with PTO (permission to
officiate) from the Bishop of Bath and Wells within the Bath, Chew Magna, Lockin&
Midsomer Norton and Portishead deaneries.
Any financially needy clergy and their families residing within the said deanerles.
Any financially needy widows, widowers or partners, alDn8 Wlth their children, of
deceased clergy, who before they died were last licensed in the said deaneries.
Any financially needy former spouses or partners, along wlth their children, who
immediately before the relationship broke down, were the spouses or partners of
clergy who were licensed in the said deaneries.
The activities are that the trustees paid out 8rants In accordance with the objectives.

Flnancial Revlew
The BCFF, charity number 230676, has been bequeathed a large amount of money and this
year has received funds from the sale of a house which was part of the estate. The CIO ha5
been set up in readiness, so the funds will be transferred to the CIO.
Therefore the total receipts for the year, including investment income, were NIL.
NIL wa5 paid out in grant5 and professional fees.
