**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE FOR THE RELIEF OF:(1) ANY FINANCIALLY NEEDY CLERGY AND THEIR FAMILIES LICENSED OR WITH PTO (PERMISSION TO OFFICIATE) FROM THE BISHOP OF BATH AND WELLS WITHIN THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND AREA DEANERIES AS MAY BE CONSTITUTED FROM TIME TO TIME IN THE ARCHDEACONRY OF BATH IN THE DIOCESE OF BATH AND WELLS(2) ANY FINANCIALLY NEEDY CLERGY AND THEIR FAMILIES RESIDING WITHIN THE AREA DEANERIES(3) ANY FINANCIALLY NEEDY WIDOWS, WIDOWERS OR PARTNERS, ALONG WITH THEIR CHILDREN, OF DECEASED CLERGY, WHO BEFORE THEY DIED WERE LAST LICENSED IN THE AREA DEANERIES (4) ANY FINANCIALLY NEEDY FORMER SPOUSES OR PARTNERS, ALONG WITH THEIR CHILDREN, WHO IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE RELATIONSHIP BROKE DOWN, WERE THE SPOUSES OR PARTNERS OF CLERGY WHO WERE LICENSED IN THE AREA DEANERIES.

**Activities:** The relief of any financially needy clergy and their families (or former) licensed or with PTO (permission to officiate) from the Bishop of Bath and Wells within the Church of England ,Archdeaconry of Bath, Diocese of Bath and Wells.Also any financially needy widows, widowers or partners, along with their children, of deceased clergy, who before they died were last licensed in the Area Deaneries
