EDUCATING YOUNG PEOPLE IN ENGINEERING DISCIPLINES, INCLUDING CIVIL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, DESIGN, AND WORKSHOP PRACTICE; ANDB. PROMOTING SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING FOCUSED ACTIVITIES AND CAREERS.”

**Activities:** The Downs Light Railway Trust furthers the education of young people aged from 7 years and upwards in practical engineering mediums and railway operation, preserving the world's oldest private miniature railway. These activities promotion of youth engagement and career opportunities for young people in heritage and national railways, and other STEM related industries.
