Research into human rights (HR) issues in particular, but not exclusively, within the Jewish community; raising awareness/educating the public about HR; providing technical advice on HR matters; contributing to sound administration of HR law; commenting on proposed HR legislation/policy; promoting public support/respect for HR, analysis of extremism as it relates to the Jewish community

Objects: The Charity’s Objects Are: To Promote Fundamental Human Rights (As Set Out In The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights And Subsequent United Nations Conventions And Declarations) Of The Jewish Community Within The United Kingdom, By All Or Any Of The Following Means: * Conducting Research And Analysis Into Human Rights Issues;* Raising Awareness And Understanding Of Human Rights Issues In Particular, But Not Exclusively, Within The Jewish Community;* Educating The Public About Human Rights;* Providing Technical Advice To Government And Others On Human Rights Matters;* Contributing To The Sound Administration Of Human Rights Law;* Commenting On Proposed Human Rights Legislation And Policy;* Promoting Public Support For Human Rights;* Promoting Respect For Human Rights Among Individuals And Corporations;* Eliminating Infringements Of Human Rights. In Furtherance Of These Purposes, The Charity Will Undertake The Analysis, Understanding, And The Raising Of Awareness Of Extremism As IT Relates To The Jewish Community, Defined Either As "Conduct By A Group That Is Either Illegal, Or Causes Harm To Members Of That Group” (“Inward-Looking Extremism”) Or “Conduct By A Group That Is Either Illegal, Or Causes Harm To Wider Society” (“Outward-Looking Extremism”) Or To Both. In Furtherance Of These Objects But Not Otherwise, The Trustees Shall Have Power: To Engage In Political Activity Provided That The Trustees Are Satisfied That The Proposed Activities Will Further The Purposes Of The Charity To An Extent Justified By The Resources Committed And The Activity Is Not The Dominant Means By Which The Charity Carries Out Its Objects.
