and to date have planted over 120 wild

with information on how the public can help
protect and improve the environment in their
gardens.

Para 1.20 We are continuing to improve a wildflower
research reserve at Hunkington Moat and to
enrich the number of wild flower species
available to pollinators. .
With the aid of public bodies such as the,
MoD and now the RSPB, we are starting to
collect rare, indigenous solitary bees and
wasps and are introducing them into the
Hunkington Manor Moat. This work is also
being replicated with satellite wild flower
meadows being constructed at MoD
Bicester, RAF Syerston and MoD
Donnington.
As a result of our bee breeding programme,
we have been able to continue our nation-
wide bee release programme using NHS
hospitals as bee dispersal sites.
