Following the creation of the foundation, the board decided to ask the charity commission to amend the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document to also help raise money for important research into a type of breast cancer. This process was still ongoing in 2024 but approved in January 2025 and the charity is now active. |

Para 1.20 | Following the creation of the foundation, one of the leading founding trustees had a progression with her breast cancer diagnosis and it was decided to ask the charity commission to amend the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document to also help raise money for important research in to that specific type of breast cancer. This process was still ongoing in 2024 and we are unable to progress until we had clarification from the charity commission. This was completed in January 2025 when the Charitable Objects were changed to: 1.FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN-TO EXPOSURES TO HARMFUL AND/OR HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS, PARTICLES OR RADIATION IN THE ENVIRONMENT OR WORK PLACE AND IN PARTICULAR EXPLORING THE LINK BETWEEN THIS AND CANCERS, ESPECIALLY LOBULAR BREAST CANCER AND WORK RELATED CANCERS, IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD EITHER DIRECTLY OR BY PROVIDING FINAN-CIAL GRANTS TO INDIVIDUALS, ACADEMICS, ASSOCIATIONS OR NGOS TO SUPPORT STUDY AND RESEARCH INTO SUCH TOPICS AND THE PUBLICA-TION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH. 2.THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS AND THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH BY PRO-MOTING AND/OR GRANT FUNDING RESEARCH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN BIOLOGY, LIFESTYLE FACTORS AND NEW TREATMENTS FOR LOBULAR BREAST CANCER AND PUBLISHING THE USEFUL RESULTS |
