School Drive will provide financial support and or school supplles to ensure children and students have everything they need to attend piimary & secondary school to further their education. School Drive will receive funding initially in the form of a charitable donation from the trustees lor companies owned by the trustees). The trustees of School Drive will aim to collecl and distribute the donations to families in Berkshire. We can confimi trusiees have had regard to Charity Commission's guidance on public beneftt. Achle¥ements and Perfomiance Duiing thi5 period we have established connections wlth over 20 Windsor and Maidenhead primary and sècondary schools, Including special needs schools and colleges. In the period 2024-2025 we have Supported over 130 local children. providing them with the necessary Items they require lo enable them tg altend school and Bet the m05t from their school day. School Drive has continued to SUC55fullY work with sd)ools to provide uniform, school shoes, PE kit, bag5, Coats, stationery and work books to children whose families would otherwise be unable to provide. During Ihis period we have established relatlonships with various departments of the Royal BoTough of Windsor and Maidenhead local authority. including Welfare Suppoit, Children MissinB Education and Rèsettlement to provide disadvantaged children with school supplies. Durlng this periocl we have worked with 'Homestarrf specifically to support strug8lin8 army families with school uniform. During this period we have advertised School Drivè through attendan at a local summer fete, a Christmas book stoll and at local library events. During this period School Drive was featured in the Thames Valley East Farnilie5 Ma8azine, providin8 a 8reat source of inforrnation to stru8glin8 families. During thls time School Drive has been liaisinE Wlth headteachers in the Slough area and attendTn8 a number of face to face meetings In order to introduce the charity and be8in supporting disadvantaged families in thi5 area of Berkshire. FlnancSal Revlew The Charity currently has £76.044 in funds for the period ending 5, April 2024. We feel this will ensure we can continue to run the charity for many year5 and wlll continue to raise fun(Js vta donations on an onBoin8 basis.
