## Structure, governance and management

The Landscape Water Carbon Trust is constituted as a CIO under a constitution dated 23[rd] August 2021 under the name of Food Forest Foundation.

New Trustees are appointed by resolution of the existing Trustee body.

## Objectives and activities

## Objects

To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, preservation and improvement of the physical and natural environment using methods that sequestrate carbon from the atmosphere including (but not limited to) agroforestry, forest gardens and food forests

## Main activities

Our main activity is to give grants to water restoration, food forest and forest garden projects, primarily grants to fund the creation and planting of such projects.

## Achievements and performance

The charity has not started to achieve its aims because of a lack of funding. Without funds coming in clearly there can be no grants given out. However the Trustees have been doing significant future planning and are actively planning to fundraise in the next year. We are hoping for some significant funding in the near future.

## Financial review

Bankers: Lloyds Bank.

Net monetary assets at the end of the financial year stood at £1785. There are no funds materially in deficit.

## Policy on reserves

The LWCT does not require reserves, as there are no day-to-day costs of running the charity – any work required is done free by the Trustees.

The policy on reserves is reviewed annually by the Trustees.

## Declaration

The Trustees declare that they have approved the trustees’ report above.
