**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE: TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF THOSE SUFFERING FROM OR AFFECTED BY CANCER OR OTHER LIFE LIMITING CONDITIONS IN MIDHURST AND ELSEWHERE IN SUSSEX, SURREY, AND HAMPSHIRE IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY: 1.PROVIDING GRANTS TO MIDHURST MACMILLAN SERVICE TO ASSIST THEM IN FURTHERING THE ABOVE OBJECT. 2.RAISING AWARENESS AND PROVIDING INFORMATION REGARDING THE SERVICES AND SUPPORT AVAILABLE TO THOSE SUFFERING FROM OR EFFECTED BY CANCER OR OTHER LIFE LIMITING CONDITIONS LIVING IN THE AREAS OF OPERATION.

**Activities:** The Charity's activity is to raise funds to support the costs of running the Midhurst Macmillan Service, a specialist community based palliative care service.  Grants are made to Sussex Community Foundation NHS Trust, the employer for the service, on a quarterly basis. The charity also directly funds all the costs of additional posts and services not covered by the NHS commissioners.
