Lancaster and Morecambe Hindu Society exists to benefit the wider community in the Lancaster and Morecambe Bay area. We seek to break down barriers between communities by engaging in activities that support the community, whilst at the same time working to promote and maintain our rich religious and cultural heritage for future generations.

Objects: 1. The Advancement Of Hindu Dharma (Religion) And Sanskruti (Culture).2. To Promote The Benefit Of Primarily But Not Exclusively Members Of The Hindu Community In Lancaster And The Surrounding District To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure Time Occupation In Order To Improve Their Conditions Of Life.3. The Relief Of Those In Need, Hardship Or Distress Arising Therefrom By Such Charitable Means As The Trustees Think Fit From Time To Time, In Particular But Not Exclusively By The Provision Of Funds To Relieve Need And Suffering As A Result Of Natural And Other Kinds Of Disaster
