|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|**The charity has an agreement with the**<br>**Catholic Diocese of Salford whereby the**<br>**charity has been given a licence to**<br>**occupy an empty church property for**<br>**the purpose of providing temporary**<br>**housing for 3 destitute asylum seekers**<br>**The charity continues to maintain this**<br>**property and meets the full running**<br>**costs of the property.**<br>**There have been 3 guests**<br>**accommodated during this period.**<br>**One has been awarded Section 4**<br>**support following the submission of a**<br>**fresh claim for asylum and has very**<br>**recently moved out into Home Office**<br>**(Serco) accommodation.**<br>**Another has very recently moved out**<br>**into alternative accommodation.**<br>**Both will be replaced by other guests**<br>**once some urgent refurbishment work**<br>**on the property has been completed.**<br>**Another guest has received his**<br>**paperwork from the Home Office**<br>**following a Subject Access Request and**<br>**is currently seeking legal representation**<br>**to pursue a fresh claim for asylum.**<br>**All guests have been supplied with a**<br>**weekly cash grant and have taken part**<br>**in well-being activities.**<br>**All the asylum seekers supported by the**<br>**charity would otherwise have been**<br>**street homeless and without funds.**<br>**RADAR was nominated for an award by**<br>**Forever Manchester at their annual**<br>**awards ceremony in the “For Everyone”**<br>**category.**|
