Para 1.20 | The charity has negotiated an agreement with the Catholic Diocese of Salford whereby the charity has been given a licence to occupy an empty church property for the purpose of providing temporary housing for 3 destitute asylum seekers The charity has fully equipped this property, which was officially opened on 08/06/23. Our first guest took up residence on 18/07/23 and is also supplied with a weekly cash grant. Before this he was street- homeless and rough sleeping. He has No Recourse to Public Funds The full running costs of the property are being met by the charity. The charity has also supported two other destitute asylum seekers with No Recourse to Public Funds with weekly cash grants throughout the year. All three asylum seekers supported by the charity would otherwise have been without funds. |
