**Was gifted a minibus (valued at £30,000)**
**by the Sally Hancock Youth**
**Development Fund. This is a significant**
**donation as it enables the coaches to**
**transport our boxers to and from**
**sparring sessions as well as to**
**tournaments across the region.**
Continued its work within the community
which has allowed it to expand its provision
for junior members e.g., a rise in the
membership from the previous season.
Continued to foster contact with the
parents and families, allowing coaches to
discuss progress and offer advice if asked.
Extended the partnership with Exeter

**students taking a coaching coach.**
Coaches continue to travel to Exeter on
Saturday to work with the group. This
group also attends the home gym on
Monday/Tuesday and now Thursday of
every week.
The application for a new boxing gym as
part of a new Sports’ Hub for the town has
proven to be both very slow and
expensive. The trustees are anticipating a| |||decision by June/July 2025.They still have
to address some minor concerns raised by

previous year; there was a shortfall in
income over expenditure due in main to the
added costs of running the new minibus.
Fortunately, the significant growth of the
membership over the last year will ensure
that our income will at least match our
expenditure in the financial period of 25/26.
Planning permission is expected in the
Summer of 2025 and, therefore, the
associated costs will disappear.
As referenced earlier the donation of a
minibus has been a major boost to the
charity, however it does place an additional
burden on the club’s finances as seen in

following due diligence. This will be key to
the success of the new gym at Warren
View. Once permission is granted the
charity may consider appointing more

that will be necessary to undertake in order
