Secretary's Report
This will be my final annual ￿port as Church Secretsry as l ￿1[ be stepptng down in April 2025. As a churth we have been
blessed with God's continued grdce tovrdrds a steady stream of new people continuing to attend the Sunday
service. From within thefn we have been blessed with a number of new mernbers who are keen tts become more involved
In the work of the church. We have also had a number of long standing mernt￿￿. who for varwng reasons, have felt that
the time had come for them to move on to partures new. We are saddened by their departure, and grateful for their long
and steadfast service here. We pray that God will continue to bless them as seek to set￿e elsewhere. We were also
saddened by the home call of Jeff 8raithwaite at the Wnning of December aftera long batde with illne5S, taknng solace in
the fatt that he is now at peace with the Lord. Our youth WOTk with JAM. and the mother and toddler group continue to

Ben is now into the second year of hts tenure he￿ and he and Danielle are a blessing to the thurth with their

The economic hardships that beset the country during 2023. WhI￿t easing to a de8￿. have continued into this year and

years now we have run wtth a planned deficit as we were bte5sed with a heathy surplus of frjnds which the membership
Wlshed to see used to further the work of the gospel. As we head towdrds 2025, we have prepared 3 budget that Is frugal,
iming for a relativefy small Increa￿ in the amount of Kryin8 f￿Ned. with the intention of heading the thurch back
towards being self4ufficient. believing in a God who will gnfe hi5 F*op4e what they need. DurinB 2025 the trustees will
continue to monitor the fir*an￿. seeking to Supplement them rf additional ways of doing so can be found. They also
acknowledge thatthe budget for 2026 may invotve making some hard decision5.
The world situation has also not improved. with the conflicts that y￿re ongoing at the end of 2023 escalating through the
course of 2024. We continue to pray for Pea￿ in the Middle E3St and Ukrnine in particular. but also for the other parts of
the wodd where confiict is rnwnE. The ecoTh)my aa)d t*orld events are Olrt of our hands. a SI￿atiOn that may leave Some of
us feellng both helpless and fearful. We however have a GLWJ who is all powerfvl and is irh tharge although hs plans are
beyond our under51anding. We must ccthnueto hold fasi in ourfaith and trust in the Lord.
