Thetrusteespresenttheirreportwiththefinancialstatementsofthecharityfortheyear ended
31December2025.ThetrusteeshaveadoptedtheprovisionsofAccountingandReportingby Charities:
StatementofRecommendedPracticeapplicabletocharitiespreparingtheiraccountsinaccordance with
the FinancialReportingStandardapplicablein the UK and Republicof Ireland(FRS 102)(effective1  January
2019).

`OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES`

`Objectives and aims`

TheobjectsoftheJimJacksonEducationalandEnablingFoundationCIOaretoprovideforthe public
benefit, and on a worldwide basis the following:

The relief of need of disadvantaged young persons.

Theadvancementofeducation(includingsocialandphysicaltraining)ofdisadvantagedyoungpersons, in
such ways as the charity trustees think fit, including by:

-awardingtosuchpersonsscholarships,maintenanceallowancesorgrantstenableatany university,
college or institution of higher or further education;

-providingfortheireducationandpreparingthemforentrytoanyoccupation,tradeorprofession on
leaving any educational establishment;

-assistingothercharitableorganisationswhoseaimsincludeadvancingtheeducationofsuch young
persons.

The reliefof unemploymentof disadvantagedyoungpersons,in such waysas maybe thoughtfit, including
assistance to find employment.

'Disadvantagedyoungpersons'meansthosepersonsaged16-24whoarein needby reasonof youth, age,
ill-health, disability, financial hardship or otherwise.

`Significant activities`

Thiswasthefourthyearofoperationforthecharityandinadditiontoincreasingtheawarenessof its
objectivesand aims,and continuingto raise funds it was able to increaseits supportof beneficiaries during
theyearinasignificantway.Detailsofitsachievementscanbefoundinthecharitableactivities section
below.Thecharitycontinuedwithitsstrategyofsupportingthirdpartyorganisationssuchas universities
and colleges and other related organisations supporting the development of disadvantaged young persons.

Insummary£152,583wasspentoncharitableactivitiesduringtheyearwithcommitmentsofup to
£142,700 to be paid out in the following year on long term support activities.

`Public benefit`

ThetrusteesoftheJimJacksonEducationalandEnablingFoundationCIOconfirmthattheyare satisfied
thattheyhavecompliedwiththeirdutywithregardstoensuringthattheCharityhasundertaken suitable
works for the benefit of the public; as required by the Charity Commission.

`ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE`

`Charitable activities`

Duringtheyear,thecharitymadepaymentsof£152,283forcharitableactivities.Thisincluded £19,864
withinthe educationalfund, paid to third partycharitableorganisationsenablingthem to retain vulnerable
staffinfullemploymentwhilstsupportingthemwithapprenticeshipsinrecognisedqualifications. The
supportincludedtimeoffforstudyattendanceandstudycosts.Theseactivitieshavebenefittedboth the
thirdpartycharityinbeingabletoretaintheemployeesandtheindividualwhowillbenefitfrom a
structuredtrainingprogrammetosecureemploymentandtobeabletoseekfuture employment
opportunities as they arise using the skills and qualifications gained under this programme.

Paymentsof £82,500were madefromthe educationalfund to a numberof universitiesthroughoutthe UK
tosupportvariousbursariesandschemesdesignedtosupportdisadvantagedstudentstocommence or
continuewiththeirstudiesinbusiness.Allsuchbursariesandschemesmetwiththeobjectivesof the
charity and a number have been established for the longer term beyond 1 year.

The charitycontinuesto supporta localcollegewithsupportfordisadvantagedstudentswitha number of
courses,facilitiesandequipment.Inaddition,thecharitysupportsaproportionofthecostsof an
apprenticeworkingwithinthecollege'scateringoperation.Totalpaymentsinthisareaduringthe year
amounted to £26,431.

A further£20,388wasspentwithintheeducationalfundwheresupportwasprovidedthroughthe supply
of computers,IT and otherequipment,and with paymentfor shortterm and one off coursefees leading to
opportunities for individuals to develop their skills on entering the business world.

Finally£3,100waspaidoutfromtheenablingandhardshipfundstosupportlivingaccommodation, and
traveland subsistencecostsrelatingto qualifyingstudyprogrammesthatwouldbe supportedthrough the
educational and enabling funds and for an individual to participate in a business management course.

Whilst the currentfocus is on supportingrelevantthird party organisationsthe charitycontinuesto address
the challenge of attracting and supporting individual direct applicants.

TheTrusteeswereverypleasedwiththelevelofsupportprovidedbytheJimJacksonEducational and
Enabling Fund.

`FINANCIAL REVIEW`

`Financial position`

The resultsfor the year and the charity'sfinancialpositionat the end of the year are shown in the attached
financial statements.

DuringtheYear,thecharityhadincomeof£186,750fromdonationsandlegacies.Totalexpenditure was
£163,431. There was an operating surplus of £23,319 in the year.

`Principal funding sources`

ThelargestsourceoffundsarisefromdonationsfromAspectsBeautyCompanyLimited,andthe Jackson
Hillfamily.JimJackson,afterwhomthecharitywasestablishedandnamedwasthefounderand joint
managingdirectorof AspectsBeautyCompanybeforehe sadlypassedawayin February2021.Other funds
comefromgenerousdonationsfromcompaniesin the beautysectorand fromthe staffof Aspects Beauty
Company,whonotonlydonatefundsbutarrangeanumberofeventseveryyeartogeneratefunds and
awarenessof the charity.Othereventsare organisedby the companyand supportfor the charityis  always
represented. Friends of the company and family also make regular donations to the charity.

`Reserves policy`

The trusteesaimto maintainfreereservesin unrestrictedfundsat a levelwhichequatesto approximately
1yearofunrestrictedcharitableexpenditure.Thetrusteesconsiderthatthislevelwillprovide sufficient
fundstomaintainfundingofongoinggrantcommitments,torespondtonewapplicationsandto ensure
thatadministration,supportandgovernancecostsarecovered.Thebalanceheldasunrestrictedfunds at
31 December 2025 was £319,054, of which £150,000 was  regarded as sufficient as free reserves.

`Recruitment and appointment of new trustees`

Apartfromthefirsttrustees,everytrusteemustbeappointedforatermofthreeyearsbya resolution
passedata properlyconvenedmeetingofthecharitytrustees.In selectingindividualsforappointment as
trustees,thetrusteesmusthaveregardtotheskills,knowledgeandexperienceneededforthe effective
administration of the Jim Jackson Educational and Enabling Foundation CIO.

Inappointingtrustees,thereshouldalwaysbeafamilymemberandarepresentativefromthe family
business on the trustee board of the Jim Jackson Educational and Enabling Foundation CIO.

The charity trustees will make available to each new trustee, on or before his or her first appointment:

`- a copy of the current version of this constitution; and`

- a copy of the CIO's latest Trustees' Annual Report and statement of accounts.

Every trustee of the Jim Jackson Educational and Enabling Foundation CIO must be a natural person.

No individual may be appointed as a trustee if:

`- he or she is under the age of 16 years; or`

- heorshewouldautomaticallyceasetoholdofficeunderthesections178-180oftheCharitiesact 2011
(or any statutory re-enactment or modification of that provision) .

No one is entitledto act as a charitytrusteewhetheron appointmentor on any re-appointmentuntil he or
she has expresslyacknowledged,in whateverwaythe charitytrusteesdecide,his or her acceptanceof  the
officeofcharitytrustee.AtleastoneofthetrusteesoftheJimJacksonEducationaland Enabling
FoundationCIO must be 18 yearsof age or over.If there is no trusteeaged at least 18 years,the remaining
trustees may only act to call a meeting of the trustees or appoint a new trustee.

Theremustbeatleastthreetrustees.Ifthenumberfallsbelowthisminimum,theremainingtrustee or
trusteesmayactonlytocallameetingofthetrusteesorappointanewtrustee.Thereisno maximum

Ihavecompletedmyexamination.Iconfirmthatnomaterialmattershavecometomyattention in
connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

2. the accounts do not accord with those records; or
