Activities

Provision of activities for adults with learning disabilities in City of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, namely weekly clubs for drama, dance and poetry. Residential visits, meals, theatre visits. All 500 old students receive newsletters, birthday and Christmas Cards.

Objects: To Relieve The Needs Of Adults, Primarily Former Students Of Oak Field School, (the “beneficiaries”) With Learning Disabilities In The City And County Of Nottingham By:• The Provision Of Social Activities;• The Provision Of Residential Visits, Theatre Visits, Dinner Etc., To Enable Adults With Learning Disabilities To Maintain Friendships In Supportive And Safe Settings;• Managing The Theatre Of Citizens, Magenta Dance Group And The Poetry Group And Other Future Groups;• Ensuing That Former Students Are Kept In Touch, In Particular But Not Exclusively, Via Newsletters, Birthday Cards, And;• The Provision Of Opportunities For The Beneficiaries To Develop, Plan And Organise Activities To Encourage Support And Friendship.
