In particular we have approxtmately ￿vOlUnteerS who distribute our magazine The Valley Park Voice. ten months of the year. We also have number of casual volunteers who help out at various events including the Community Kettle. Iltter picks and other actwities.

VPCA mana@es not onWthe Community Centre and local rnagazine Ivalley Park Vol￿) but employs a Centre Manager. C<)mmunity Engagement Coordinator, and Caretaker. Cleaning has been out50urced to improve reliability of this service. The Community Engagement Coordinator fole has continued to allow the provision of a Commuftity Summer Fayre, Dtter Pickin& Halloween Events. Chr￿tMaS Fayre and Santa's Workshops. New events such as Bin80 & Fish Supper have promoted a strong working ￿latiOnShIp with local businesses. This event has proved so successful thatwe will be running more and similar events in the very near future. Members of the local cornmunity attended and supported these recreational events which provided lots of opportunities for improved socialisation, to the ￿neffit of everyone's mentsl health. Employing a Community Engagement Cixsrdinator to run events benefits the Community, so whilst we would like to make a small amount of money on these the main aim is to bring the Community together and for them to have a focal point that is a friendty, safe, and welcomin8 place to come to... the Centre of the Communttyl I hope that this will promote more hirer5. and more income for us to reinvest. We continue to make small improvements to the infrastructure of the Community Centre which include an up8raded booking system. website. and accounts software. We are now able to take tard payments offering ease of use to anyone using the Centre. Phys￿1 maintenance has included the resurfacing of the Main H￿1 floor, removal of an unused WC. installation of an outside tap. and new hand dryers with splashbacks for all remaining Wcs. Following feedback from users. a s)und 5yStem was installed, and portable air cooler purchased for the Main Hall. The Centre continues to provide an Ideal venue for retreation and leisure time cKcupation. We continue to improve oursocial media presence and regulady update the website to keep beneficiaries informed of Ongoi￿ recreational opportunities at the Centre and hirfing availabillty. The Valley Park Voice has continued to be a Sour￿ of infom)ation to the Community. This publication produces ten editions per year in both hard and electronic copy to ensure inclusion to all benefidarles. Our financial situatK)n remains stable. though as we look to the future, our fixed temi utility contract5 are due for renewal in the next year, and we exFeCt a signtficant increase in these costs moving forward. The £6,556 restricted hjnds carried forward frcrfn the previous year were granted from The National Lottery Community Fund as restricted fijnds forthe ongoing Community Engagement Projert and were utilised in the current year.
