## **Report on the Year 2022 for** 

**Charnwood Road Baptist Church CIO** Charnwood Road Shepshed LE12 9QF 

The church has not engaged in activities as the CIO. It has been completely dormant, there is therefore, nothing to report. 

No movement was made in the transfer of assets to the CIO because of the creation of a cessation event to the Baptist Pension Fund. In previous years would have involved the church in very high costs. However, recently the Baptist Pension Fund has managed to reduced the deficit so that we no longer face the same financial barriers. Hence, it is hoped that we can move forwards in the next twelve months

These accounts have been prepared on a 'receipts and payments' basis in accordance with Section 133 of the Charities Act 2011. Pension scheme - estimated employer debt December, 2022  -  £0.00 The Church was advised in Autumn, 2022 that the Baptist Pension Scheme Fund had moved out of a shortfall position for the first time in two decades so there is no employer debt at the year end.
