Friends of Women is a registered charity in England and Wales (Charity No. 1195366). The charity exists to support and empower women through community engagement, advocacy, and support initiatives. 

This report covers the financial year from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024. 

## **2. Activities and Operations** 

During the reporting period, the charity remained inactive. No charitable activities, events, or programmes were carried out. 

The trustees did not undertake any fundraising activities, project delivery, or operational work during this period. 

## **3. Financial Review** 

The charity had no income or expenditure during the financial year 2023–2024.

No bank account transactions were recorded, and the charity did not hold any funds at the end of the period.

The charity remained under the stewardship of its appointed trustees throughout the year. No changes were made to the trustee board during this period. 

The trustees confirm that they have continued to ensure the charity’s compliance with its governing document and relevant legal obligations, despite the lack of operational activity.

Although no activities were carried out during this period, the trustees remain committed to the charity’s objectives and public benefit purpose of supporting women and promoting equality and empowerment.

The trustees intend to review the future direction of Friends of Women, including the possibility of reactivating programmes, partnerships, or community initiatives in future reporting periods.
