**Objects:** (A)THE ADVANCEMENT AND SCIENCE AND PRACTICE OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE FIELD OF GASTROENTEROLOGY WHICH INCLUDES THE STUDY OF PHYSIOLOGY AND PATHOLOGY OF THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM. (B) TO PROMOTE THE STUDY AND RESEARCH WORK IN MEDICINE AND SURGERY WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE PHYSIOLOGY AND PATHOLOGY OF THE DIGESTIVE SYSTEM AND TO PUBLISH WHERE APPROPRIATE THE RESULTS OF SUCH STUDY AND RESEARCH. (C) MONIES RAISED ARE TO SUPPORT WORK BEING UNDERTAKEN IN SUFFOLK IN PARTICULAR AT THE IPSWICH HOSPITAL.

**Activities:** We raise money to support the treatment and care of people with digestive disorders who live in Suffolk, primarily in the Ipswich area. Money is raised by fund raising activities in the community and used to support the gastroenterology (medical/surgical) department of the Ipswich Hospital including with the purchase of equipment, staff training and out reach services.
