OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
To advance the education of the public in the history and heritage of New Brighton by:-
Providing access to a historical archive comprising exhibits, objects, photographs and documents which relate to the social, economic and cultural history of New Brighton.
Offering Heritage Walks, free of charge.
Maintaining an up to date Website and Face book page.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
The Heritage and Information Centre is located with St James Church, Albion Street, New Brighton. Our allocated days continue to be Wednesdays and Fridays 11am-1pm.
Volunteers Meetings are held every second Thursday in each month. Each meeting has an agenda and minutes.
Once again we participated in the Wirral History and Heritage Fair at Hulme Hall.
We have continued to work in conjunction with Church representatives in holding exhibitions of local interest.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Currently our needs are small due to the limited space which the Heritage Centre has within the church. There is very little scope for development. We have not sought any grant funding.
